Established in 1890, we are a family run nursery, garden centre and coffee shop, offering one of the largest selections of hardy trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants in the North.

Based in Leeming Bar, we are one of the last traditional working nurseries still in operation. We grow a large majority of the plants we sell including fruit trees, ornamental trees, shrubs, bedding, herbaceous and much more. Growing the majority of our stock ourselves gives us greater control over the quality and costs meaning we can provide the best value for you. The small amount of stock that we do buy in comes from specialist growers who we have worked closely with for many years. Over the years we have built an excellent reputation with our customers for the quality of our plants and the range on offer.

As well as our nursery stock we have all the essentials you will need in the garden- tools, seeds, compost, gravel, fertilisers, watering, outdoor pots etc. We also have an extensive range of houseplants and accessories including pot covers, feeds and composts. 

We pride ourselves on being a gardeners nursery with specialist staff on hand to provide advice on all of our products.
